It'a a very busy place especially in week-ends, you find everything, from the middle age dude so called straight, to young muscular arab guys who looks for clients.
Condoms are available and warning are placed anywere about risks of unsafe fun, but you still find people who look for bareback, it's up to you, play safe!
The hammam sometimes looks like a gang bang with plenty of guys having fun all together.
The after Demence days you can see some drug users and dealears going around, the management stike quite though (!) when they catch someone with drugs.

I went on saturday 17/07/2010 and I saw, unconscious guy in the steam room, dealing drugs in a cabin next to the sling room, smoking near showers and even in the dark room, shouts all over.
I you want to have fun here, avoid the days after the demence party.

Ich persönlich fand die Spades-Sauna besser, trotz der etwas schwierigen Lage.

He smiled and kissed me... then drag me to a cabin. To my surprised we did it. It was really satisfying. We hugged each other and kissed again before i left.
I will definitely like to go back there again if im in bruxelles.

This place sucks, the staff is rude (very Belgian, for that matter) the crowd is arrogant and dismissive, made up mostly with stringy guys in their 20's who go just to do the catwalk and look down on each other. The environment is really weird, as if everyone hated each other, that means no fun at all, and the cherry on top of the cake is the hostile staff, they treat customers as though they hated their job, or even as if they hated gay people. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, don't waste your time and energy in this shithole !!

Now, I have visited this sauna on a "normal" day (saturday). Frankly speaking, there were far fewer customers than on May 1st. I have been there from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and there were constantly about 30-50 customers.
So, you absolutely need to know the special dates, when there is a special event in Brussels, like "démence" or CSD....

I GO CRAZY !! I was there on thursday, may 1st, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. : The sauna was constantly totally crowded, over 200 people inside ! All lockers (190) were occupied, so that customers had to use plastic bags to put their cloths inside.
I have to say that this was after the "Démence"(huge gay party in Brussels), and that the entrance fee was only 10 € for everybody, because it was a thursday.

New staff. New management. More people than before.
For the rest we will have to wait...I really can't see many changes, except the desinfection shower for the feet (next to the whirlpool).
The whole location looks quite old.
Crowded on thursdays (special day, entrance fee 10 Euro for everybody).
