A small old sauna kept clean for very mature men. Beware money was taken frome out of the locker. If you like guys over fifty and want to pay 40 Reals entry it's ok but do not bring cash with you.

Well this place is running down. Expensive now R$ 38,-- the younger crowd moved to Flamengo and SB Project in Botafogo and one cannot blame them. Management does not care for the place, the dry sauna room is almost falling apart, benches have rusty nails, ths semi steam room next to the dry sauna STINKS. - Dark room is to dark and idiots are covering the bulb with towels, the emergency exit locked and blocked with a bed. They might not have heard from the 1.1.2009 death due to fire in a Bangkok disco. Tonight " salotto" as the Italian would say,"Parejas" on carnaval excursion sauna included, some hot action, the ongoing in the dark room a joke. Leblon is to forget, unless you jump from the beach for some sweat.

THIS SAUNA USED TO BE NICE. NOW IS NOT WORTHY GOING THERE . VERY EXPENSIVE FOR BRAZILIANS. YOU FIND BETTER SEXY FOR A LOT LESS AND OFF COURSE WITH BRAZILIANS ! THE COSTUMERS ARE ALL THE SAME, AND A SICK LOOK ! THE BEST TIME IS ON DECEMBER OR FOR A CARNIVAL.

THIS PALCE USED TO BE VERY NICE AND EASY FOR HAVING A GOOD FUN. FOR THE PAST YEAR IT HAS CHANGED A LOT FOR WORST. THE PRICE IS VERY HIGH 36 REAL . EVEN FOR THE TURISTS (THE MOST EXPENSIVE IN BRAZIL) COMPARING WHAT YOU GET. FOR THE CARNIVAL SEASON YOU FIND A LOT OF EUROPEAN TOURIST CRASY FOR A NICE AND HOT BRAZILIAN. SO YOU WON'T FIND ANY THERE THEY CAN'T PAY THAT MUCH. IN RIO YOU CAN FIND MUCH BETTER PLACE AND FUN FOR A THIRD OF THIS PRICE. LIKE THE SAUNA CATETE , MOST BRAZILIAN IS HARD TO SEE A FOREIGN AT THIS PLACE. THE BEST TIME IS FROM 13 TO 18 . A LOT OF REGULAR GUYS COMING FROM WORK, BEFORE HEADING HOME.

What a great and convenient place next to the Ipanema beach and in my opinion the best of 3 termas in this area.- Friendly staff, Senor Lluis is an angel and provides almost everything and a good mix of all ages. Another plus they open at 12 noon, so the lunch crowd is there as well on rainy days. I did stay 3 month in Rio ( Nov.-Feb.)and used the cash discounted 12 tickets, a bargain.
