I visited the sauna on a Friday evening and it was very quiet. However the interior is clean, whereas the staircases are a bit filthy. The crusing zone seemed alright, I had lots of fun there with younger guys, which came around 8pm to the place. A plus is the comfortable changing area and the safer fun policy. Condoms are placed in sight wherever you go...

An old sauna, located in the city-centre. The last renovation seems to be many years ago. I have been in lots of gay-saunas before, but Amigo has the smallest steam-sauna and Finnish sauna I have ever seen in Europe. I was there at Friday evening and it was very crowded, mos men were in the age of 40 - 60 years. The stuff was friendly. It's a pity people smoke nearly everywhere, so the air is very smelly.

Amigo is certainly not the most modern sauna in Europe. It was opened in 1974 and even though it has been renovated a couple of times, it´s still a little bit run down and compared to the most modern saunas in for example Hamburg and Berlin, it seems rather unfancy and old fashioned. BUT still I have to say that most people come to Amigo for s-e-x (fun), and as a cruisingplace Amigo is a good place. Always a lot of action, especially friday and saturday night. I was there last saturday night (June 2011) and the sauna was very crowded - there were probably around 80 guys in the sauna. And I saw both europeans, asians, blacks...and the youngest guys were around 20 and the oldest maybe 70. A nice mix. And I had fun with 5-6 younger guys (20-35) so I certainly didn´t have a boring night there

Conclusion: Amigo may not be the most modern and stylish sauna in Europe, but as a place for cruisig and fun in my opinion it is still the best place in Scandinavia.

This is the actionplace i Copenhagen!!!little bit rundown but still in shape for fun, the clowd..all ages..all wishes..the yunger gays show upp later at night after disco.. Full fart på Amigo fortfarande!!!

Freundlicher Empfang und mit 100 DKK für das teure Kopenhagen erstaunlich preisgünstig. Die Anlage ist indes schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, der Naßbereich im Erdgeschoss bräuchte dringend mal eine Renovierung. Dampfbad (leider klein und ab vom Schuss) und Sauna sind sehr dunkel, und es ist dort fast nichts los. In den oberen beiden Stockwerken gibt's einen sehr großzügigen Crusingbereich, dort waren an einem Dienstagabend nach 22 Uhr durchaus noch 15 bis 20 Kerle zugegen, die meisten mittleren Alters, aber dann eben auch ein jüngerer Däne, mit dem ich viel Spaß hatte. Vorbildliche safer-fun-policy mit dem bizarren Effekt, dass die Sauberkeit etwas darunter leidet, weil immer wieder mal Kondome (gottseidank eingeschweißte!) auf dem Boden herumliegen.

Friendly reception and with 100 DKK rather a cheapo. The facilities are quite run-down, especially the showers and toilets in the basement. Very dark sauna and steam bath, the latter being tiny and both lacking action. Spacious crusing area on the two upper floors, with almost twenty mostly middle-aged guys walking around on a tuesday night after 10 p.m. Found a lovely younger blond Dane anyway. Excellent safer-fun policy with the bizarre side effect of affected cleanliness due to (luckily wrapped) condoms lying on the floor in cabins and showers.

Well, maybe you were unlucky. I have been to Amigo a lot of times, and the activity varies a lot. Sometimes it is a little boring and you have to wait 2-3 hours for action, and other times it is wonderful, like a paradise ;o)

I was there last saturday the 2 of May 2009. When I arrived around 10 o´clock in the night, there were only about 15 lockers left out of 110 lockers. So there were almost 100 men there!!

Arond 1-2 o´clock in the night, a group of 7-8 very young and beautiful boys arrived (mostly swedes, I belive). They were all around 18-24 years old. And I did s*** a couple of them and also had some action with two other young guys in their twenties.

So if you arrive at the right moment, Amigo is hot as hell. But you need some luck and some patience maybe....

Amigo is not the most modern and stylish sauna in Europe. I have seen moch more beautiful and modern saunas in Germany, for example (Treibhaus or Apollo in Berlin are much more modern and stylish than Amigo...).

But generally the action at Amigo is GOOD and over the years I have had a lot of horny, beautiful, hot younger guys there. What pure action concerns, I doubt that Amigo is second to the saunas of Berlin, Hamburg and so on. At least you do not have the hustlers that you see overall in Berlin´s saunas and who are quite annoying, to be honest...

the biggest room, but only one dark normal sauna and one steam bath-this is opening in evenning, think danish people like ore cruising then sauna

I have been to Amigo two fridaynights..boring..the clientele is mostly 60+ and not very attractive..it just to be fan 3-4 years ago.. I´m 32 and dont have problem to find company in a sauna..but Amigo was totally hopeless!!

It is a quite clean place, many people on weekends, I like the place.
