went to the portsea sauna yesterday ,very clean and friendly ,more professional and city people go ther ,quiality place for nice crowd ,they have very good massage therapists ,really worth to try .any way i love the place and i will go there again

Went to this place after some years. It is really TINY and the guy on the desk, without even looking at me, asked whether I wanted a massage or sauna only. The 'porn room' is uncomfortable and the film had stopped for about 15 mins before anyone noticed. There are only 3 private rooms. For Ģ13 they should have better facilities. Not recommended give the number of saunas in London.

In the Spartacus guide for 2007, the description for The Portsea is highly inaccurate and is probably a missprint. The description is much more applicable for The Pleasuredome. The Portsea is in my opinion very small. The showers are modern and clean but small. The steam room is new and very nice but small. There is a small porn room with a regular "fat" TV. In general, the place has been refurbished to a high standard but like most old buildings in the UK there are some things you just canīt paint or renovate away. The crowd is mainly older. No early action. If you donīt live nearby one of the Chariots facilities or The Pleasuredome is a much better option. I would not visit this place again.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon. It is very small! 3 cubicles only. The crowd is older, but there is not much attitude. Average about 10 or so people. Because it was small, there is a danger that you might end up having fun with everyone in the place...Nice and friendly though, would go again.

Very small sauna with friendly staff. However if you like young guys you'd better go elsewhere. Average age was 40+. They close very early (23:00). The aquarium inside is nice, go and see it though not work 10 pounds
