I was in amsterdam yet again 2 weeks ago and spent my days at THERMOS SAUNA I love it in spite of all the bad reviews for me is a great sauna like I always mention in previous statements the usual crowds from the beautiful to the not so beautiful the crowd mostly late 20's and on on up , twinks here and there, gets really happening in the afternoons and dies down more or less past midnight that is where youll find dirty condoms and dirty cabins I GUESS THEY DONT HAVE ENOUGH STAFF to clean after everybody all the time I am a tourist so I always get there late past 10pm but I love it not too crowded you always get what you want or whant you are looking for as discriminating towards non whites like one of those posts mention I am not white I am hispnanic but I never pay attention to that stuff they will always be racist people thats there problem.The only thing that I know is that the most sought after male is the white male I have lived among them since I was a teenager and that is what I am attracted to all my life but there is always someone for everybody; will all end up old and when that happens will become invisible giving space for the new generation of young beautiful gay guys meanwhile enjoy as much as you can because it will go away

iF YOU GO TO THIS SAUNA THEY CHARGE YOU 29.95 EUROS , 10 OF THOSE EUROS IS FOR DEPOSIT, IF YOU DONT EAT OR DRINK NOTHING , WHEN YOU LEAVE MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THE DEPOSIT BACK.

I was there 2 weeks ago, huge place, beatiful, a lot of pretty boys and the regular not so pretty like everywhere else ,all ages.I read a comment posted on this site about" them" discriminating against non whites I dont know what is he refering to but like everywhere else not all white guys are attracted to non whites and that goes for everybody, we all have diferent tastes.The price of the enrance is 29 euros 19 forsomething and 10 for something else the guy at the entrance explain it to me but didnt pay too much attention.The place gets less busy after midnight and the booths end up dirty with condom wrappers, lubricant gel,used condoms but probably there is not enough staff to clean after everybody.There is one section where you can smoke oh and by the way the younger and prettier you are the more chances of hooking up you have like everywhere else, so if you are in AMSTERDAM and like saunas you should go and if you are white in your 20's good looking, you are in for a treat, youll have a blast.

Beautiful, clean, 3 floors with lockers (different colours for better orientation!), crowded with 25 people. But lacks intimacy and most boys show a typical kind of big city arrogance. I'm better off in my own more provincial town

Bovenstaande commentaren zijn wel erg negatief. Dit is een prima sauna met mooie voorzieningen; klein zwembad, dakterras, jaccuzzi, finse sauna en een turks bad. Ik kom er nog steeds wel een paar maal per maand en heb er al heel wat leuke mannen leren kennen. Op zaterdag en zondag kan het behoorlijk druk zijn en dan is er altijd wel wat te versieren. Helaas weinig mannen jonger dan 30. Het personeel kan wel wat vriendelijker zijn.

This sauna is a shame for the Gayamsterdam!!!Dirty, no cleaning, the stuff is terrible, the installation encarrige to cruising..not action,
the crowd..old boys mostly..I WANT TO SEE O NEW SAUNA IN AMSTERDAM!!!

DEn här saunan har blivit hopplös, smutsigt, trist peronal..gubbarna har passerat bäst före datum för länge sen..trots det mkt attityd!!, mkt cruising..lite knulla.. Amdsterdam som bögstad är dyrt och trist..ta flyget lite längre söderut...

Dirty (they should shoot the cleaner)! Unfriendly staff ("dutch service")! Shit music (is the owner the dj?)!
Amsterdam really needs another sauna.

What can i say about Thermos? Its former glory has diminished completely. Dirt everywhere, which makes it unbearable for most of us to hang around. What the hell is the cleaning staff doing anyway? Nothing? Aren't they supposed to clean all facilities like every hour? This place surely needs it badly!

And the staff... well, i know Amsterdam is not famous for its customer service, but come on! With that nasty attitude you shouldn't be allowed to even open a business. A smile will make a huge difference. And it doesn't cost a penny, too.

And the crowd? Arrogant, shallow and a bit racist too. Especially against non-whites.

I really can't wait until SteamWorks opens another gay sauna in Amsterdam, so that this place will be left out right away!
