The Hamam is now open but apparently has changed name. I was recently there on one afternoon being the only one for more than 1 hour. At a certain point the attendant told me that I had spent too much time and that I had to leave (just when two guys arrived). He was very rude, so I just left this ugly and dirty place. DON'T go there. As I discovered after, when i had the opportunity to meet local people, they go to CHESME, where actually I had great time.

Geschlossen - kein alternatives Hamam fuer den Mann in Istanbul. Und das in der Hauptstadt der (ehemals) glamuroesen osmanischen Baederkultur: Sic perit gloria mundi!

It is true, this sauna still ahs the rennovation sign on the door. I have been many times here over last years, always met great guys, had great fun and no attitude, rent boys, hassle, what a shame!! by the way i prefer to pay 13 euros for a great time in istanbul than 15 in western europe, run around for 2 hours and have a wank on my own!! nice site, will post more.
