A sauna in American style in the sense that the idea is that you take your car and park it in the car park in front. If you are staying in one of the great gay guesthouses near the beach, and don't have a car, take bus no.11. It runs from along the beach all the way to the central bus terminal, a 5 min walk from the sauna. It costs $1.50, you need exact change. The sauna is excellent. Very high standard on everything. Expensive but it's worth it to meet men in style. I would definitely go again.

A nice, clean, modern bathhouse with a very wonderful patio, great pool, lot of deck-chairs, barbecue on sunday afternoons. Many visitors, all ages, but most of them in the 30s, 40s. Too many visitors? Because, less action takes place, as everyone is waiting for their number 1, say, they walk around for hours and hours and nothing happens, show their muscles, how nice they are. Into the steamroom, out of the steamroom, look at the patio, back to a cabin walk, steamroom again, and so on and so on, no action. Too nice and to "clean" to go again to this place, at least from my point of view. Again, CBC in Miami, my favourite.

Nice clean place. Very good facilities. But very very rude place. Attitude everywhere. Starting with the staff. Crowd: Queens and Muscledramaqueens. Guys walking endlessly in circles around hallways doing nothing but showing attitude. Hey! We are here to have a good time. Not in this sauna. Will not visit again.

The Ramada Inn of bathhouses. Very clean, almost antiseptic. I've met some hot men there, but overall, the atmosphere resembles an upscale motel with attitude. Clientele includes many of the younger gym set; so there's going to be lots of walking around in endless circles. Everyone seems distracted, as if they're waiting for someone other than the one they're with; they always seem to be looking over your shoulder for that phantom person to appear.

I've been there a couple of times, and it was just OK, though I noted the comment above, about the clientele changing between these two bathhouses. I've never noticed that.

By and large, I'll take the Clubhouse II any day.

Was there for MLK weekend in 2/2008. I had a really great time at the sauna. The ages ranged from late 20s to guys in their late 60s. The atmosphere was very social. There was always hot action in the steam room. I really loved the group shower. The outdoor area must be lovely in the summer and really great place to get to know someone. I thought the rooms were just fine and it is nice that they provide you with a condom. The staff was friendly and the facilities were extremely clean. They closed down the steam room at least once while I was there for cleaning. I hooked up with 3 guys and had a great Sunday afternoon.
